April is Global Volunteer Month and this week is National Volunteer Week!
Thank you to ASQ’s dedicated volunteers for supporting member value and ensuring the success of the Society. In 2022, our volunteers hosted more than 900 events, held almost 3,000 leadership positions, and helped members claim more than 18,000 RUs. Wow!
Their years of service span nearly 70 decades; 76% of ASQ volunteers joined between 1970 and 2020. In recognition of their outstanding hard work, we want to take a minute and recognize a few of our volunteers and the decade they joined:
1970s –Robert Rinderman, Scioto Valley Section
1980s – Jim Creiman, Deputy Region Director; Robert Mitchell, Phoenix Section
1990s – David Levy, Deputy Region Director; Lorraine Fraser, Toronto Section Chair; Karen Maskell, Region Director; Kari Repka. Washington DC & Maryland Metro Section, Valerie Hassan, Palomar Section; Janet Lentz, Philadelphia Section and Delaware Section
